History of Building
Patriot Elementary School, home of the Pride, opened its doors in the fall of 2008 as part of the Papillion La Vista Community Schools district's expansion. Proudly displaying blue and silver as its colors, the school was the first of two new elementary schools built as part of the 2006 bond issue. Patriot Elementary is strategically located in the Grandview Subdivision, just off 96th and Schram Road in Papillion, to serve the growing population in the southern part of the city.
Designed with modern educational needs in mind, Patriot Elementary features flexible learning spaces and advanced technology integration. These innovative design elements support the school's commitment to providing a cutting-edge learning environment for its students.
The Pride mascot, symbolized by a lion, represents strength, courage, and community – qualities that the school strives to instill in its students. These characteristics, along with the patriotic spirit embodied in the school's name, form the foundation of Patriot Elementary's educational philosophy.
Patriot Elementary embodies the district's commitment to "Be Known for Greatness" through its strong STEM programs, innovative learning spaces, and dedicated support for families. By combining academic excellence with a strong sense of community and patriotism, Patriot Elementary continues to play a vital role in preparing students for success in an increasingly interconnected world.
