The PLCS Community Closet removes barriers to school attendance by ensuring every student has access to the clothing and personal hygiene items they need to succeed. We believe that no child should miss school or struggle to focus on learning because they lack clean clothes, a warm coat, or basic hygiene products.
Through free shopping events and private appointments, we provide new and gently-used clothing for the entire family (infant through adult sizes), shoes, coats, backpacks, school supplies, and personal care items to all PLCS families in need. Our mission is simple: when students have what they need to feel confident and comfortable, they can focus on what matters most—their education.
The Community Closet serves any family with children attending PLCS. All services are completely free and provided with dignity and respect.
